A Pair of WW1 Leather Cavalry Field Boots & Trees

World War One Officers' handmade leather cavalry field boots and wooden trees.

These beautiful objects are in very good condition and the leather has a fine patina from many years of beeswax polish. Complete with their bespoke beechwood boot trees in four parts per boot, and a brass ring at the top to assist insertion and removal, as well as stitched in bootstraps with which to pull oneself up !

The nailed soles are in very good condition, and the trees are astonishingly bright and clean, clearly showing the hand written number that links all custom made parts with the boots.
