Wanted Dead or Alive!

Described by the Egon Ronay Guide in 1996 as "...the sign of things to come" the Hotel du Vin group has quickly fulfilled that prediction by becoming an extremely trendy name in the hotel and restaurant business.

Leather Chairs of Bath was chosen by Robin Hutson, the Chairman of Hotel du Vin Ltd, to supply furniture to the 2nd of the new hotels, housed within a Grade 2 listed building in Royal Tunbridge Wells, and then for the next exciting project, a 40-bedroom warehouse-style development in the centre of Bristol, just a few miles down the road from the Leather Chairs of Bath showroom.

Robin's choice of a mix of our Amsterdam Chairs, and the Lansdown and Ibsen Sofas and Chairs, have worked superbly in the hotels' public areas and private bedrooms. The Amsterdam Chair in particular has been received enthusiastically by the owners and guests as being true to the spirit of the intended open 'loft' design whilst reflecting the atmosphere of the industrial past of the 18th century building, once a sugar refinery.
