Just to say thank you very much for your care and attention during our purchase of the Lansdown Sofa and Georgian High Back Chair. We are delighted with both, they sit well with our more modern pieces and the two styles, from different eras, go well together. We love the feel of the leather and the colour is just right, changing pleasingly with the light. They are perfect for long cosy nights relaxing in front of the fire - just as we'd hoped. Bath Literature Festival
We are currently making preparations for this year's festival, running from 25th February until March 6th, 2011.
For several years, Leather Chairs of Bath have been asked to supply chairs for the various stages set up for the Bath Literature Festival, and we have sponsored several of the authors including Martin Amis and Doris Lessing (see picture below).
Our Amsterdam Chair was chosen by the organisers after a 'testing' session to see which shape would offer comfort and, crucially, space for the sitter to use their arms, as well as their voices, to communicate with the audience !

Furniture with character
Every one of our chairs is individually hand-crafted using traditional techniques and craftsmanship.
Our walnut stain gives our chairs a rich patina, which enhances the grain, blemishes and scars naturally found in real leather. Every spring is hand-sewn into a solid Beechwood frame, and every nail is painstakingly hammered in by hand.
Not everyone can appreciate the distinctive finish of genuine leather, but if you have the taste for a unique piece that will be treasured for generations, we will be delighted to help you.
